Adventures in Billy Hymer

We have had a long camping journey together. We started in nylon tents, graduated to a tipi then bought a bell tent. Fed up of crawling around we bought a mahogany horsebox on a Mercedes chassis and converted it to a motorhome. After a few years it was too slow and too heavy so we bought a 1994 Hymer B544 called Heidi. After 8 years and mobilty issues a caravan seemed to be a solution. Park up and drive places. 3 years later and never having fully felt a proper caravanner we sold it and went back to a Hymer – Billy. Hes a Compact C474 with twin beds at the back with trike storage and loads of space. Here we go again with the agility of short or long trips, easy set up and another adventure …
